A new federal action could put Illinois’ wind and solar energy jobs at risk. Regulators have issued rules to undo Illinois’ progress toward its clean energy goals, threatening existing and future jobs in the clean energy industry.

But new legislation, the Clean Energy Progress Act (HB 2861), has been introduced in Illinois. If passed, this bill would give our state the ability to chart its own clean energy future to protect and promote clean jobs, while keeping energy prices affordable.
